Life is complicated and, of course, it does not come with an instruction book. It’s easy to become overwhelmed, subsequently becoming stuck, repeating unhealthy or unhappy patterns of behavior.
Hi. My name is Jill Maling, and I’ve been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the past 30 years. During that time I’ve enjoyed working with children, teens and adults, helping them confront a variety of problems. My work and life experiences have brought me to my current passion: I help women move through the various changes that can occur during Midlife years. Any woman who is in this stage, as I am, knows what I’m talking about. From raising teens to empty nesting to menopause to retirement, coping can be challenging; however, you don’t need to go through it alone. I want to help!
This is my philosophy:
I believe that everyone gets stuck at some point in her life;
I believe that patterns have their roots in the past;
I believe that uncovering these roots and making associations to one’s present circumstances can lead to a greater understanding of yourself, thus releasing you to again move forward in your life;
I believe that everyone deserves to be happy, and find joy in her life;
I believe that psychotherapy is the vehicle through which people can heal from the pain they have carried within, freeing them to lead healthier and happier lives.
There is no need to live a life that is chaotic, overwhelming, confusing or painful, It IS possible to heal, and become more peaceful and content. Won’t you give me a call at 847-945-1170, or send an email to jill@passagespsyhcotherapy.com? I’d be honored to accompany you on your healing journey of self-discovery.
